Kalingo Communications was founded in 2024 by a group of passionate non-profit communication professionals who saw a need for ethical, inclusive and sustainable communication support in the non-profit sector. Today, we are a thriving network of over 20 specialists located globally and from diverse backgrounds, united by our commitment to social justice and effective communication.

Her agency has a clientele of some of the world’s leading social impact and news organisations.

She excels at delivering high-impact trainings and fostering global client relationships. She has worked for renowned international organisations such as ActionAid, Plan International and War Child, and as an independent consultant.

Ivette is a certified English-Spanish translator and conference interpreter with nearly three decades of experience. 

She has worked with prominent international development organisations such as UNFPA, World Vision, Plan International and Save the Children. Ivette's expertise includes translating grant proposals, training manuals, and programme documentation for major donors like USAID and DFID. 

 

She is a member of the Association of Translators and Interpreters (Ecuador) and has specialised training in conference interpretation. Ivette's work spans humanitarian and development projects, crisis response, and community engagement, showcasing her ability to handle complex technical content with cultural sensitivity and ethical integrity.

Rachel 
Morton-Young  

Public Speaker, Trainer, Comedian  Utrecht, Netherlands   

Rachel is an experienced and qualified public speaker and trainer, delivering expert sessions in Public Speaking and Presentation Skills. She has worked extensively with non-profits, empowering them to amplify their impact by delivering compelling messages. Working with organisations like Time Inc, the European Commission and War Child, she has led flagship projects that advanced sales, global advocacy, funding, and engagement efforts. 

Known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and “can-do” attitude, Jaspal thrives on building meaningful relationships and bringing people together to achieve shared goals. 

Dana 
Adawi 

Communications Specialist

Dana is a professional non-profit communicator, researcher and project coordinator. Her passion lies in amplifying voices, with a focus on gender, culture and advocacy. Born and raised in Egypt, she understands the power of words to drive change.
 

With a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam (UvA), she coordinated the What Can Culture Do (WCCD) tour at the European Cultural Foundation, bringing voices from 15 cities into key conversations. She has worked for non-profits such as War Child, managed 25+ events at 020 and researched gender-based violence (GBV) in Global Majority Countries.
 

Fluent in Arabic and English, she excels in copywriting, advocacy and stakeholder engagement, using communication to drive impact.
